In honor of it being the 4th day of the work-week, my friends and I decided to try this new beer bar near Central Square after work called Lord Hobo’s. They apparently have one of the best selections of beer around and I’ve been eyeing it for several months. One of my hiking buddies from last weekend had been there a few times already so he helped me make the leap.

Cruising on the Commuter Rail on the way home from work.

A view of the Prudential Center and other various Boston buildings on my walk home from the commuter rail station.

An example of why I take the train to work. To avoid the rise in blood pressure that is correlated with driving in Massachusetts traffic 2 hours/day.

Doing a quick blog update before heading out to the bar for dinner and beverages.

Castle on the way to the bar.

Brilliant idea of combining a recycling bin with a trash bin. The Big Belly Solar Compactors are a great idea, good job Porter Square.

Kicking it at a friends house real quick for a semi-annual VICE meeting to talk about goals and trips for the upcoming winter season, accompanied by LaBatt Blue tall boys as always.

In Porter Square on my way to Lord Hobo's in Central Square.

This is what happiness looks like; pulled pork sandwich, fries, and a black IPA, Mmmmm.

Hiking and general life buddy enjoying a local brew or two... or three.
